Scholarship Partners
ISR instructors have a culture of giving back to our communities and a passion to support the founder’s mission that “Not One More Child Drowns”. ISR is dedicated to making sure no family is ever turned away based on financial reasons and that is why we support a variety of scholarship foundations aimed at drowning prevention and awareness.
Live Like Jake
Keri and Roarke Morrison created the Live Like Jake Foundation in honor of their son, Jake, who tragically passed away on November 30th, 2013. This foundation’s purpose is to create awareness of drowning prevention and provide survival swim lesson scholarships to those who cannot afford them, as well as provide financial and emotional support to families who have lost a loved one or have a child with critical care needs. If you need financial assistance for lessons or if you have a desire to donate, please visit LiveLikeJake.com to find out more about their mission.
Because of Logan
Zack and Michelle Fox created the Because of Logan Foundation in honor of their daughter, Logan Grace Fox, who wandered away to the backyard pond on May 28th, 2021. This family is choosing to honor the life of Logan through swim safety awareness, education, training and support of families who have endured a loss through childhood drowning. If you need financial assistance for lessons or if you have a desire to donate, please visit BecauseOfLogan.com to find out more about their mission.

Water Smart Tots Foundation
Kari Bahour is an Aquatic Behavioral & Drowning Prevention Specialist. Her passion for water safety was the result of her 16-month-old son experiencing a non-fatal drowning at a friend’s pool in 1998. Thankfully, her son survived and Kari’s passion led her to the ISR infant self-rescue swim program and the creation of the Water Smart Tots Foundation. This is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating childhood drownings in the Greater Tampa Bay area. They provide complimentary interactive water safety programs to thousands of preschoolers, in addition to awarding hundreds of scholarships for high-quality, one-on-one swim lessons to financially underprivileged children from the ages of twelve months to five years. If you need financial assistance for lessons or if you have a desire to donate, please visit WaterSmartTots.org to find out more about their mission and scholarships.
